. Q. How can we start catching ourselves from ‘White-Lies’ in our daily conversations??
Ans. 1-Examine our triggers:
Notice when and why we lie.Ask ourselves where we are, who we are with,how we feel and what we hope to achieve by this ‘Lying’.
This awareness helps identify patterns and moments prone to dishonesty.
2- Practice setting clear boundaries:
Often white lies arise from difficulty saying.. ‘No’. Or avoiding conflict. Practice giving honest but respectful answers to requests or invitations.
3- Keep a lie journal:
Write down when we catch ourselves lying,even about small things.This helps increase self-awareness and motivates change.
4- Reframe our mindset:.
Accept that our being truthful even if uncomfortable,builds deeper connections and self-respect. Remind ourselves that our true feelings and experiences have value.
5-Start Small:
Tell the truth our miner things first,our actual arrival time or feelings and notice the relief and trust it builds..
